MLP Lost Ponies (Original Species)

I finally finished it. I had the sketches lying around forever. 

So this is my own species, the Lost Ponies. 
Some things about the species; they're called the Lost Ponies because, well... they disappeared around the time when Discord was turned to stone. The only remains of their existence where notes and drawings.

They are currently living in large underground cave systems. The buildings consist of crystals, so their home looks a bit like the crystal empire put underground. (Like I said, I had the sketches lying around forever. Even before the episodes with the Crystal Empire) But the crystals have a bigger variety of colors, and the colors are more intense. The crystals with the most intense color are often the smallest and can be used to increase their magical power, but they should remain attached to the other crystals. Ponies that detached them to increase their magical power will permanently start to hear voices until they go insane. There are three stages: first they start hearing voices, then they start obeying the voices (their eye color changes to the color of the crystal) and then the crystal takes over them (their form changes completely, their bodies only consist of bones, held together by magical energy).
Other species can use the crystals too, if they aren't magic users they will get specific magical powers through the crystal. If for example an earth pony takes a crystal it could get... fire powers. Or ice, or something like that. They can't do much else other than their specific magic. If a unicorn or Lost Pony takes a crystal, their normal magical powers will increase. They may live isolated and underground now, but that doesn't mean that some of them can't go to the surface and travel around Equestria. Consider that if you're making a backstory.

Lost Ponies tend to hiss when angry. They also purr when they feel good. The body temperature of them is higher than the temperature of normal ponies. That's why they can't get a fever. Their temperature drops if they get ill. They live about 250 - 300 years.

If u wanna make a lost pony, just go ahead and do it. This is just a basic ref sheet, if you want to make some things a bit different then go for it. Wanna give your Lost Pony a cutie mark? Sure go for it. Want them to have different horns? Awesome do it. Just go ham and have fun. I only ask that you don't make Lost Pony adoptables and stuff.
